Job summary

CalvertHealth in Maryland is seeking an experienced Perianesthesia Services Supervisor to lead PACU, PAT, and SDS teams, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient patient flow while aligning with service and financial goals.

Requirements: BSN or equivalent (MSN preferred); current Maryland RN license or compact; 3–5 years perianesthesia experience and 2–3 years supervisory experience; CPR within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months, CPAN/CAPA within 18 months; ASPAN membership encouraged.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent experience; MSN preferred.
• Maryland RN license or compact multistate license required.
• 3–5 years perianesthesia experience.
• 2–3 years supervisory experience in perianesthesia environment.
• CPR within 30 days of hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire; CPAN and/or CAPA within 18 months of hire.
• Membership in ASPAN encouraged.
• Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies as per policy GA-057 and/or department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to PACU, PAT, and SDS staff to ensure service, quality, safety, and financial goals are met.
• Maintains clinical skills by assuming clinical patient care assignments as necessary to meet patient flow and departmental needs.
