Job summary

AAC Southwest in El Paso, TX is seeking a Perianesthesia RN for a full-time position in our office-based anesthesia practice, covering pre/intra/post-op care. The role includes pre-operative assessments, intra-operative care, and recovery, with focus on safe patient care during standard business hours.

Requirements include TX RN license, 3 years ER/ICU or PACU experience, BLS/ACLS, and willingness to travel to client locations. Bilingual preferred. Competitive salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited RN program with active RN licensure in the state of TX.
• A minimum of 3 years in ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification is required, PALS certificate is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-operative assessment and care of the patient.
• Intra-operative care and post-operative/recovery care.
• Maintain the pharmacy and supplies, safely handle all equipment.
• Participate in quality performance improvement activities.
• Assist with pre-operative patient assessments via secure patient portal when needed.
