Job summary

AAC Southwest is opening an ambulatory anesthesia program in Abilene, TX and seeks skilled perianesthesia RNs to support pre/intra/post-op care for our office-based facilities. Expect a 3‑day workweek with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays.

Bilingual Spanish candidates are highly encouraged to apply, and tasks include care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases. The role focuses on ensuring safe patient care, maintaining supplies, and supporting a collaborative surgical team during standard

Qualifications

• Graduate RN with TX license from an accredited program.
• Minimum 3 years of ER/ICU or PACU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-operative assessment and care of the patient.
• Intra-operative care.
• Post-operative/recovery care.
• Maintain pharmacy and supplies; safely handle all equipment.
• Assist with pre-operative patient assessments via secure patient portal.
