Job summary

Duke University Health System is hiring a Clinical Nurse (RN) Perianesthesia in Durham, North Carolina. The role provides and supervises total nursing care across pre-op, PACU, and post-anesthesia pathways as part of a patient-centered team.

The position requires current NC RN licensure, BLS, and a Bachelor's degree in nursing with ACLS preferred; 1+ year RN experience is preferred for CN2. Shifts are three 12-hour days per week, with unit-specific weekend/holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years clinical nurse experience preferred; CN2 role requires at least 1 year RN experience.
• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• All RNs without a Bachelor's degree must enroll in a BSN program within two years and complete within five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care per the nursing process.
• Adhere to DUHS Professional Practice model and participate in professional development activities.
