Job summary

Evergreen State College in Olympia seeks an Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2 to serve as the primary instructional and technical resource for performing arts spaces in the Communications Building. You will support music, dance, and theater classes, train students on equipment, and coordinate space and production logistics for performances and events.

Qualifications

• Provide instructional and technical support for performing arts spaces across music, dance, and theater.
• Train students in safe use of equipment and systems.
• Develop instructional documentation and training materials for equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate space scheduling, production logistics, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as production advisor for performances and events in the Communications Building.
• Coordinate technical elements of productions with Media Services.
• Manage space requests, scheduling, and equipment needs.
• Supervise student crews and mentor student workers.
• Maintain safety protocols and inspect facilities and equipment.
