Job summary

Nysonian is seeking a Video Editor to create high-performing paid social video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube, turning raw footage into scalable, engaging creatives.

You’ll add motion graphics, captions, music and sound design, and repurpose long-form content into short-form formats (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).

Collaborate with designers and strategists to meet brand goals. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of editing experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects or Final Cut Pro are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of video editing experience in fast-paced environments such as agency, D2C, or eCommerce.
• Advanced skills in editing tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro.
• Exposure to AI-driven video tools (e.g., Runway ML) to enhance production.
• Strong understanding of content formats and performance dynamics across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta platforms.
• Ability to edit with a focus on storytelling and marketing outcomes (CTR, engagement, ROAS).
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality, high-performing content.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality video assets across social media, paid ads, websites, and campaigns.
• Craft narratives with hooks, pacing, and platform-optimized storytelling.
• Transform UGC, influencer content, and brand footage into polished deliverables.
• Integrate motion graphics, captions, music, and sound design to elevate content.
• Convert long-form content into short-form formats (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
• Partner with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align with brand objectives.
• Manage multiple projects with fast turnaround while adhering to brand standards and best practices.
