Job summary

Mphasis in Berkeley Heights, NJ, seeks a performance tester to design, execute and automate load tests across Java and database applications. You will analyze results and recommend deployment and scalability strategies in a Linux/Unix cloud environment.

Expertise in profiling tools (YourKit, AppDynamics, NMON, DB2MON) and Oracle DB performance is essential, along with CI familiarity (Jenkins) and WebSphere/WebLogic deployment know‑how.

Qualifications

• Experience with load testing using LoadRunner.
• Design, execute, and automate performance tests for throughput, latency and response times under varying load.
• Analyze results and provide deployment and scalability recommendations.
• Strong programming experience in Java or C in Linux/Unix/cloud/virtualized environments.
• Expertise in performance analysis of Java and database applications.
• Profiling Java CPU, memory, or object allocations.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with CI using Jenkins and deployment in WebSphere/WebLogic.
• Knowledge of profiling tools: YourKit Java Profiler, AppDynamics, NMON, DB2MON.
• Strong expertise in Oracle database performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance test plans and scenarios.
• Execute load tests and monitor system behavior under stress.

• >Experience in Performance testing using Load runner
• >Design, execute, and automate performance and scalability test cases for measurement of throughput, latency and response times under various load conditions.
• >Able to analyze results, and make deployment and scalability recommendations based on findings.
• >Strong experience in programming languages such as Java or C, in a distributed, large scale cloud or virtualization environment in Linux/Unix.
