Job Description

Essential Functions:

  1. Define and develop performance test plans and automated scripts using industry-standard testing tools.
  2. Execute performance tests, analyze and evaluate test results; generate performance metric reports and provide recommendations.
  3. Assist with analyzing test and operational problems to determine the presence and scope of potential code defects.
  4. Report errors through a structured defect tracking process.
  5. Communicate weekly with management verbally and via written status reports regarding potential problems and concerns.
  6. Review and analyze business and system requirements and specifications for performance testability.
  7. Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of testing tools. Expand business knowledge of product benefits, corporate policies, division and department goals, and procedures.
  8. Work with functional testers and development counterparts to ensure adequate coverage for upcoming releases and stay updated with system changes impacting performance testing.
  9. Assist and coordinate with customers, research, analyze, and propose solutions for test discrepancies and scenarios. Verify customer requests and create test data.
  10. Participate in project work group meetings, including internal/external peer reviews, walkthroughs, status meetings, and PI Planning.
  11. Participate in system architecture change reviews and assess system capacity impacts. Benchmark system performance.

Required Skills:

  1. Bachelor of Science (BS) in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Science).
  2. 5 to 8 years of experience with Tricentis NeoLoad, including scripting capabilities and features for designing and running load tests.
  3. Ability to write scripts to automate test cases and integrate NeoLoad into CI/CD pipelines.
  4. Experience migrating test scripts from LoadRunner to NeoLoad.
  5. Experience integrating NeoLoad with Selenium for end-to-end performance validation.
  6. Knowledge of performance testing concepts, types, and goals.
  7. Experience with performance testing tools such as OpenText Performance Center / LoadRunner and Datadog.
  8. Experience with at least two relational database management systems (e.g., DB2, Oracle, MongoDB).
  9. Experience with Jira and proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
  10. Strong understanding of system and application monitoring, server, network, virtualization, and database concepts.
  11. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile processes, QA lifecycle, and testing methodologies.
  12. Experience with defect tracking tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  1. All required skills are must-haves.
  2. Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
