Job summary

Calance is seeking a Performance Test Engineer (K6 / JMeter) for an onsite, contract role in Plano, TX. The candidate will build and maintain performance scripts, run diverse load tests, analyze metrics, and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. 100% onsite with mandatory on-site interviews.

Requires 5+ years in QA automation with strong performance testing, deep K6/JMeter expertise, API and web app testing, and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP). BS CS or related field preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years experience as a QA Automation Test Engineer with strong performance testing.
Experience designing/executing load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
Deep knowledge of K6 and/or JMeter (1st priority) and JMeter (2nd).
2+ years of experience with K6.
Experience testing APIs (All API Architecture) and web applications.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications (EKS etc).
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (Any cloud would work).
Strong analysis skills to interpret results and recommend fixes.
Education: BS Computer Science or related field

Position: Performance Test Engineer (K6 / JMeter)

JOB REF#: 45203

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour (W2 Only)

This role is 100% ONSITE and you must interview ONSITE (we are ONLY accepting LOCAL CANDIDATES for this role)
