Job Title: Performance Test Engineer

Location: Okemos, MI (Onsite Local Candidates Only)

Schedule: 2 3 days onsite per week (Day 1 required)

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in JMeter and Dynatrace to design, execute, and optimize performance testing strategies in a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and application monitoring tools, and will play a key role in ensuring system reliability and scalability under various load conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead end-to-end performance testing using JMeter.
• Monitor performance using Dynatrace; analyze trends and bottlenecks.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket).
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to resolve performance issues.
• Generate reports and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.
• Participate in PI planning; advocate for performance engineering best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor s in Computer Science or Engineering + 7 years of performance testing experience.
• 5+ years in application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter (technical test required).
• Proficient with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Linux.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
