Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 specializing in performance testing and IVR exposure to lead performance testing efforts across banking and financial services projects. The role focuses on design discussions, test strategy implementation, and collaboration across Dev, Infra, and DevOps teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with LoadRunner, IVR testing, API testing, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk, and will drive tests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• Experience with LoadRunner for performance test design, execution, and analysis.
• Experience with IVR performance testing using LoadRunner and Sierra.
• Experience in Performance testing across IVR, middleware, APIs, and databases.
• Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes-based environments.
• Experience with Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring and diagnostics.
• Experience with API testing using RestAssured and SOAP.
• Experience with MQ and Kafka messaging systems.
• Experience with SQL queries and performance analysis.
• Experience in designing, developing, and executing end-to-end performance testing strategies.
• Experience creating workload models and performance test scenarios.
• Experience tracking performance benchmarks, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Experience collaborating with Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
• Experience with independently driving performance testing activities across projects.
• Experience with preparing performance reports and communicating findings to stakeholders.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

• Experience in analyzing application architecture and identifying performance risks.
• Experience in designing, developing, and executing end-to-end performance testing strategies.
• Experience in creating workload models and performance test scenarios.
• Experience performing performance analysis and bottleneck identification.
• Experience collaborating with Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
• Experience with tracking performance benchmarks, SLAs, and KPIs.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
• Experience with Java and/or Python.
• Experience with API Testing, RestAssured.
• Experience with middleware performance testing using platforms such as WebSphere or WebLogic.
• Experience with file-based and batch processing systems.
• Experience supporting Banking or Financial Services applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
