Job summary
Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to drive performance testing across banking and financial services projects from Pennington, NJ. You will document requirements, design software with the team, and implement robust test strategies for IVR, APIs, and middleware.
Responsibilities include coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and delivering clear performance analyses to stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree and relocation flexibility are required.

- Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
- Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
- Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
- Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
- Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
- Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects
- A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to handle end to end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
- A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
- A passion for design and hands-on coding experience
- A proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and refining our applications.
- The ability to work with cross-functional teams and do software integration.
- Experience with LoadRunner for performance test design, execution and analysis.
- Experience in API testing (RestAssured/SOAP).
- Experience with Messaging Systems (MQ/Kafka).
- Experience with OpenShift.
- Experience in performance test engineer with expertise in IVR performance testing using LR and Sierra tools.
- Experience in creating LR scripts for IVR and backend integrations.
- experience in developing call flow scenarios using Sierra for IVR testing.
- Experience identifying bottlenecks across IVR, middleware, APIS, databases and Infra layers.
- Experience using Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring and performance diagnostics.
- Understanding of database concepts, SQL queries and performance analysis.
- Experience working in Kubernetes-based environments.
- Must be able to analyze application architecture and identify performance risks.
- Must be able to design, develop, and execute end-to-end performance testing strategies.
- Must be able to create workload models and performance test scenarios.
- Must be able to perform performance analysis and identify bottlenecks.
- Must be able to collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
- Must be able to monitor application behavior using Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Must be able to track performance benchmarks, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Must be able to independently drive performance testing activities across projects.
- Must be able to adapt to new tools, technologies, and project requirements.
- Must be able to prepare performance reports and communicate performance findings, recommendations to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Experience in JMeter.
- Knowledge of Java and/or Python.
- Experience in Middleware performance testing (WebSphere, WebLogic, etc.)
- Experience in file-based and batch processing systems.
- Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain.
- Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below location will be: Pennington, NJ $76071 to $119836
