Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated, Chicago, IL, seeks a Performance Services Coach to partner with HR teams and business leaders on coaching, performance management, and policy execution. You will drive consistent, compliant processes using Workday and analytics to improve employee outcomes.

You will collaborate with HR partners and legal teams to resolve issues, mentor managers, and support Workday upgrades. This role requires 5+ years in performance services and a strong coaching background.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience with demonstrated success in performance services, process improvement, or operational roles focusing on performance excellence
  • Core competencies in performance services and operational excellence
  • Strong project services skills and the ability to simplify the complex
  • Knowledge of performance services methodologies, and compliance frameworks
  • Technical and communication skills: proficiency in Workday, Excel and data analysis tools, combined with coaching, presentation, and stakeholder services abilities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end to end targeted coaching and training to managers on performance services best practices and feedback delivery techniques
  • Assist managers with drafting and executing written warnings, clarifications of expectations, performance plans and executing terminations. In addition, assist managers with reductions in force.
  • Provide individual mentoring and skill-building support to managers to improve their performance services capabilities
  • Effectively partner with employee relations, legal and HR partners to resolve performance services issues
  • Utilize Workday process documentation to ensure performance services consistency
  • Utilize performance services tools including CAI to help managers role play and execute difficult conversations
  • Support Workday system upgrades and process enhancements by testing functionality, gathering user feedback, and recommending improvements
  • Utilize Workday data and advanced analytics to generate actionable insights on performance trends, operational efficiency, and organizational capability gaps
  • Present findings and improvement recommendations to stakeholders using data visualization and business intelligence tools
  • Ensure all performance services activities maintain 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while optimizing operational efficiency
  • Support conflict resolution processes by providing thorough documentation, analysis, and evidence-based recommendations

Performance Services Coach

What this job involves:

Join our HR Operations team as a Performance Coach, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional employee experiences across the performance services lifecycle. You'll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent, compliant, and compassionate handling of critical employee matters.

What your day-to-day responsibilities will look like
Manager Capability Development & Coaching

Performance Analytics & Continuous Improvement

Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all performance services activities maintain 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while optimizing operational efficiency

Expected compensation for this position: 85,000.00 – 105,000.00 USD per year
