Job summary

PUMA is seeking a Designer II in Running Footwear in Somerville, MA. You will own design execution from concept to commercialization, partnering with athletes and the global product team to shape performance running products.

The role requires 2–4 years of footwear design experience, a strong portfolio, and expertise in 2D/3D tools, communication, and storytelling. Travel may be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial / Product Design or related field.
• 2-4 years of professional footwear design experience.
• Portfolio showing performance running concepts and commercialization.
• Strong sketching, rendering, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the design execution from brief through commercialization.
• Create tech packs, upper specs, midsole/outsole blueprints, factory docs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product creation.
• Translate athlete feedback into design improvements and stories.
