Role Description

We’re looking for someone who is adaptable, personable, and compassionate, with the confidence to thrive in both calm and fast-paced situations. The ideal candidate actively contributes to the health and wellness community—whether through HIIT, functional training, running, cycling, pickleball, or other active pursuits. If you have at least one year of orthopedic clinical experience, an active New York PT license, and bring positive energy and accountability to everything you do, we’d love to meet you.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
• NY State licensure in Physical Therapy
• Active Individual & Engages in either HIIT, Cross-Fit, Functional Training, Marathons, Etc.
• Experience with athletes and sports injuries is a plus
• Positive Energy
• Minimum of 24 patient hrs/wk
• Clinical expectations
• 1-on-1 patient care for an 60 minutes for follow up visits
• 75-90 minutes for Evaluations

Admin

• Patient Follow Up (1 hr)
• Follow up with Evals next day
• Eval Documentation
• Follow Up Visits Documentation
• Facility Care (½ hr)
• cleaning tables, equipment, opening, closing clinics procedures
• Staff Meetings (1.5 hrs)
• First Tuesday of every month we have a staff meeting (can change)
• 1-on-1 Sales training/ Mentorship meeting TBD

Marketing

• Lead and organize injury prevention workshop (after onboard, shadowing is done)
• Workshops are already created
• Content Creation (1 hr)
• Have content planning meeting the first Friday of every month
• Shoot content the 2nd Friday of every month with staff
• Community Events, Drop-Ins, face to face meeting, other marketing duties (1 hr)
• Have face-to-face meetings as applicable with gym owners or managers
• Our office manager will create meetings for PT staff

3-Step Onboarding process

• Step 1: Get settled in/Learn the ropes (Week 1-2)
• Meet the Staff/Tour of Facility/Get Equipment
• Shadowing and Observing- Evals, Follow Up visits, phone calls, customer service, etc
• Company Culture, Expectations, Role & Responsibilities, etc
• Getting Familiar with all software systems
• Introduce patient experience and patient lifecycle (sales scripts)
• Step 2: Create Independence (week 3-4)
• Less Frequent 1on1 meetings (weekly, bi-weekly)
• Sales Process Review/Role playing with Eval scripts
• Hands-on In-Service training with Manual Techniques
• Individual tasks and independence given based on performance and comfort level or employee and employer.
• Regular 3-month, 6-month, or yearly Reviews based on company procedures.
• Ongoing mentorship and guidance as needed based on employee needs and skill level.

Compensation:

• Starting at 80K + BONUS structure as will be outlined in employee contract upon offer
• *Ability to be promoted to clinic manager etc based on performance and clinic needs
• $2,000 CEU Reimbursement Account
• Flexible Sick Time, Vacation & Clinic Schedule
• Medical benefits offered 90 days after start of employment
