Job summary

SCT in Sparta, WI is seeking an experienced Nutritional Performance Specialist to support an Army National Guard H2F project. The NPS will develop and deliver nutrition guidance to enhance Soldier readiness, cognitive performance, and recovery, partnering with Soldiers, unit leaders, and other specialists.

The role involves creating program policies, practical nutrition resources, counseling individuals and groups, and mentoring H2F-Integrators.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related field from an accredited program.
• Minimum of three years of postgraduate experience as a Registered Dietitian focused on performance nutrition for athletes, tactical populations, or military units.
• Licensed or registered Dietitian or Nutritionist with current credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, adaptation, and implementation of command-specific Performance Nutrition Program (PNP) policies and educational curricula.
• Develop practical nutrition resources, including fact sheets, fueling strategies for field training, meal planning guides, and Go For Green materials.
• Provide nutrition strategies to Soldiers and leaders for weekend assemblies and sustain during training periods.
• Conduct individual and group performance nutrition counseling.
• Provide nutrition education and support to Soldiers enrolled in the Army Body Composition Program.
