Performance Marketing Specialist - SEM & Emerging Channels

WHO YOU ARE:

ThePerformance Marketing Specialist is a data-obsessed digital marketer who thrives on translating performance metrics into actionable media decisions. This role blends hands-on paid media execution (especially SEM) with a heavy emphasis on channel attribution, reporting, and insights. You'll manage and optimize search campaigns, test emerging paid channels, and help build the infrastructure to understand what’s driving real results—across platforms and funnel stages.You’ll be instrumental in evolving our reporting and attribution approach to reduce CAC, optimize spend, and support smarter growth decisions across the business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage Google and Bing Ads campaigns day-to-day, with a focus on lead volume, cost efficiency, and quality
  • Test emerging channels (YouTube, Reddit, Spotify, Quora, etc.) and deliver performance assessments
  • Optimize bids, budgets, audiences, and creative based on data insights

Attribution & Analytics

  • Own day-to-day channel reporting and performance dashboards (in GA4, Looker, Tableau, PowerBi, etc.)
  • Partner on our Developer’s Road Map to improve attribution logic, UTM tracking, and first-party data usage
  • Deliver daily, weekly and monthly performance summaries with insights, not just numbers
  • Identify multi-touch and cross-channel attribution trends and make data-backed recommendations to shift spend
  • Help evolve our approach to creative performance tracking, landing page A/B test reporting, and CAC forecasting

Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with SEO, Content, and Dev teams to ensure full-funnel alignment and campaign impact
  • Feed insight into creative testing initiatives and help validate what’s working (and why)
  • Building automation or GPT-based solutions for tagging, trafficking, and QA

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 2–4 years in a performance marketing or growth analytics role
  • Direct experience managing SEM campaigns in Google Ads (Bing a bonus)
  • Strong skills in Looker, GA4, Excel/Google Sheets, and attribution/reporting frameworks
  • Familiarity with UTM parameters, pixel implementation, and conversion tracking
  • Curiosity to explore underutilized media and deliver tests with clear metrics
  • Ability to connect tactics to business goals—CAC, LTV, and quality outcomes
