Job summary

The Florida Department of Transportation (Office of Inspector General) is seeking an Auditor (Management Review Specialist-SES) to perform performance audits, assess compliance and internal controls, and recommend improvements. You will oversee scopes, methodologies, and audit programs, and may lead team members under supervision.

Strong knowledge of auditing standards, IT auditing, and data analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAS, GAO standards, IPPF, IG standards and ISACA standards.
• Knowledge of information technology and operational auditing best practices.
• Knowledge of methods to compile, review, and analyze performance, operations and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct audits, special projects, and reviews of Department operations, programs, controls, contracts and agreements in compliance with professional and office standards.
• Prepare thorough, complete and accurate documentation of work performed and prepare reports.
• Perform procedure reviews.
