Job Description

Crowe’s Performance Improvement department in the Strategy & Transaction Advisory practice helps clients significantly improve their profitability by addressing operational challenges, developing actionable improvement plans, quantifying financial benefits, and partnering with clients to realize savings.

We seek an Operations Consulting Manager capable of managing operational, financial, and process analyses, strategy development, process reengineering, and modeling (e.g., LEAN/Six Sigma), to deliver operational transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments through operational and shop-floor observations, utilizing analytical skills to identify financial opportunities.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and organizational metrics dashboards per regulations and client needs.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Train, coach, and mentor Project Champions.
  • Manage scope of work, ensuring timely, within-budget deliverables.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and performance improvement tools to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least five years of manufacturing operations and/or consulting experience; operations consulting experience is a plus.
  • Proactive, innovative mindset with a proven track record in implementing ideas and assessing results.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and interpersonal communication.
  • Willingness to travel 80-100%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree such as MBA or Master’s in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Extensive operations consulting experience focusing on large-scale performance improvements.
  • Technical proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and analytical tools.
  • Preferred locations: Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Nashville, TN.
