Job summary

Cenegenics is seeking a Performance Health Coach to join our in-person team in Houston. You will educate members on nutrition, supplementation, and exercise, design personalized programs, and monitor progress with physicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nutrition/fitness field.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• ACSM certification preferred.
• At least five years of health-related teaching or coaching experience.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate members on nutrition, supplementation, and exercise per Cenegenics protocols.
• Assess health data and design personalized lifestyle programs.
• Coordinate with physicians on program development and adjustments.
• Conduct regular follow-up consultations and answer member questions.
• Support member retention through Cenegenics protocols and referrals.
• Communicate progress and insights to the care team.

What You Will Do

• Prepare summary sheet of lifestyle recommendations based on health & lifestyle questionnaire and labs, addressing any key concerns
• Educate members on the importance of nutraceuticals and recommend supplementation based on their personal goals, health history, and lab results
• Assess current eating habits and educate members on proper nutrition based on Cenegenics recommendations and protocols
• Conduct fitness assessments to include body composition, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, balance/posture and core strength
• Educate members on the importance of weight training, cardiovascular activities, flexibility and balance. Design/refine their current program to coincide with medical management program
• Maintain open communication with physician regarding development and implementation of member programs
• Prepare program recommendations for close processes
• Conduct regular follow up consultations and respond to email questions regarding nutrition/exercise
• Use the Member Retention protocols daily as a Performance Health Coach
• Offer members additional Cenegenics services and products to enhance member retention i.e. friends and family referrals
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Exercise Science, Physiology, Biochemistry, Health Science, Kinesiology or related field or equivalent experience
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certification preferred
• At least five years of health-related teaching or coaching experience as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Coach, or Nutrition Counselor
• Track record of managing cross functional projects or patient bases to implement heath programs
• Passionate about longevity, healthy aging, healthcare and committed to personal self-care, healthy lifestyle, and personal growth
• A relationship builder with high EQ and collaboration skills that allow you to be effective at influencing a variety of stakeholders, including physicians
• A communicator, motivating health coach with exceptional clinical knowledge in the health and wellness space especially with regard to HIPAA, proper supplementation and in nutrition and exercise consultations
• Demonstrate a self-starter mentality with a roll of your sleeves and get things done, making tangible impacts to our collective success (nothing is beneath you)
• Relentlessly focused on optimization (entrepreneurial spirit), reaching our goals
• Must possess judgment, strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity
