Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) seeks a Performance Expert to deliver resilience and performance training for DoD personnel at Fort Huachuca and other installations.
You will teach mental skills, conduct workshops, and coach groups and individuals in high-demand environments to foster peak performance. Applicants must complete Army Master Resilience Training, become a certified Army Performance Expert, and be able to travel as needed.
Performance Expert, Resilience Training/Ready and Resilient Performance Center (RT/R2PC)
Ready and Resilient Performance Centers provide instruction in the areas of resilience, positive psychology, and performance enhancement to U.S. Army and Department of Defense personnel, their families, and Department of the Army civilians at 35 Army installations within the United States and overseas. Performance Experts provide instruction to DoD service members, their families, and DA civilians. Prior to performing performance expert tasks, they must graduate from the Army’s Master Resilience Training Course and be a certified Army Performance Expert.
Performance Experts teach mental skills, resilience, and performance enhancement techniques. Teaching is conducted in group and individual settings and includes general education in human performance along with personalized training on how to acquire and apply specific mental skills and techniques that cultivate the mental and emotional strength necessary to thrive in an era of overwhelming demands and persistent conflict. The mental skills and techniques taught by the program include Building Confidence, Goal Setting, Attention Control, Energy Management, Integrating Imagery, and Team Building. Using these principles, Performance Experts help the clients to become high performing “tactical athletes” and help foster high performing “unit teams” in preparation for, during, and following combat operations. Specifically, they teach performance psychology to promote excellence and efficiency during physical, technical, and tactical training, as well as during the challenges of combat operations. They also provide tailored education to facilitate Wounded Warriors in their transition back to their units or to civilian life. The program teams are comprised of 5–10 Performance Experts and led by a Performance Center Manager with prior military experience.
