Job summary

Amtex Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Performance Tester to execute and optimize performance tests for web applications and APIs. The role involves designing workload models for baseline, load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing, using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.

A BS in CS/Engineering or equivalent is required, with strong frontend performance testing skills. The position supports remote work for initial six months before relocating onsite to Austin, TX, and will entail building

Qualifications

Plan and execute performance testing for web applications and APIs.
Design workload models and test scenarios for baseline, load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or comparable tools for load testing.
Experience with frontend performance testing and browser diagnostics (Chrome DevTools, network analysis).
Hands-on experience building performance dashboards, monitoring systems, and alerting.
