Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Software Performance Engineer to lead performance efforts with minimal supervision and mentor one junior teammate. Responsibilities include planning, scripting, executing tests, and defect management across multiple systems.

The role requires 3+ years in performance testing, familiarity with LoadRunner/JMeter, and strong collaboration skills. Hospitality industry experience is a plus, with strong focus on quality and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years practical experience in performance testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or JMeter.
• Experience building and tuning AI agents to accomplish performance tasks.
• Experience with Testing Methodologies (Agile, RUP, Iterative, Spiral, Waterfall, XP).
• Experience in vacation ownership or hospitality industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate QA activities for projects and provide timelines.
• Develop performance plans and test strategies.
• Create and execute performance tests for Web, middle-tier, and backend systems.
• Manage defects and track performance issues.
• Develop automated tools for data generation and test maintenance.
• Collaborate with teams to improve QA and performance practices.
