Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Performance Engineer II to lead labor standards studies and optimize warehouse operations. You will implement engineered standards, conduct time studies, and train staff on LMS usage to boost efficiency and utilization of facilities.

You will collaborate with operations teams on productivity improvements, prepare project documentation, and participate in monthly reviews. Expect travel 50%–75% of the year while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in operations, logistics, distribution, or transportation required.
• 1+ year of time study, industrial engineering, operational analysis, or relevant experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Implements Labor Management (LM) and engineered labor standards in Consumer sites.
• Conducts time studies and methods analyses to provide LMS maintenance support related to engineered standards.
• Train site management, supervisors, and super‑users on usage of LMS; demonstrate how to utilize LMS to optimize operations.
• Perform site audits to ensure compliance with system requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work with operations teams to identify productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction improvements; assess feasibility and participate in solutions.
• Create, maintain, and distribute weekly and monthly project documentation.
• Facilitate monthly project reviews.
• Work on databases, information technology, spreadsheets, and related information.
• Travel 50%–75% throughout the year depending on projects.

Job description

The Performance Engineer II role has a national salary range of $55,000 - $90,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $90,000, Washington is $80,169 - $90,000, New York is 62,354 - $90,000 and Colorado 57,500 - $90,000.

Job Description

Under direct supervision from the Sr. Operations Performance Engineer, conducts studies to determine engineered labor standards. Evaluates efficient sequence of operations and work flow and recommends improvements to operational processes to maximize utilization of facilities and personnel. Implements Labor Management across operations. Performs site audits, reporting, and project management. Work with operations team on projects that will increase efficiency and general warehouse operations

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education required
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or related field preferred

• 1+ year of time study, industrial engineering, operational analysis, or relevant experience desired
