DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Performance Engineer I to conduct labor standards studies and optimize operations across sites. You will implement LMS, perform audits, and manage projects to boost productivity and efficiency in warehouse operations.

You will collaborate with operations teams on improvements, create documentation, and travel up to 75% per year depending on projects. A Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering and 1+ year of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• 1+ year of time study, industrial engineering, operational analysis, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of logistics, distribution, or transportation operations to identify improvements.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate operations to maximize facility and personnel utilization.
• Implement Labor Management across sites and perform LMS maintenance.
• Conduct site audits, reporting, and project management for improvements.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify productivity, cost, quality, and customer-satisfaction improvements.
• Develop and distribute weekly/monthly project documentation and reporting tools.
• Facilitate monthly project reviews and assist on special LMS or process-improvement projects.
• Assist in developing documentation and system enhancements for LMS.
• Travel 50%-75% throughout the year depending on projects.

The Performance Engineer I role has a national salary range of $70,000 - $115,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $115,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $115,000.

Job Description

Under direct supervision from the Sr. Operations Performance Engineer, conducts studies to determine engineered labor standards. Evaluates efficient sequence of operations and work flow and recommends improvements to operational processes to maximize utilization of facilities and personnel. Implements Labor Management across operations. Performs site audits, reporting, and project management. Work with operations team on projects that will increase efficiency and general warehouse operations

• Implements Labor Management (LM) and engineered labor standards in Consumer sites.
• Conducts time studies and methods analyses to provide LMS maintenance support related to engineered standards.
• Train site management, supervisors, and super-users on usage of LMS. Demonstrates methods to utilize LMS to optimize operating potential.
• Perform site audits to ensure compliance with system requirements and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
• Works with operations teams to identify improvements in productivity, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction. Identifies potential projects, assesses feasibility, and participates in implementing solutions.
• Creates, maintains, and distributes weekly and monthly project documentation.
• Facilitates monthly project reviews.
• Assists on special technical projects related to LMS, process improvement, or re-engineering.
• Assists in the development of reporting tools, documentation and system enhancements
• Travel 50%-75% throughout the year depending on projects.

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Experience in operations, logistics, distribution, or transportation
• 1+ year of time study, industrial engineering, operational analysis, or relevant experience
• 1+ year of experience developing/refining engineered standards, LMS program management, industrial engineering, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of logistics, distribution, and/or transportation operations to be able to identify areas for improvement
