Job Summary

Heavy Metal Machining is looking for an experienced Machinist who is familiar with 4- and 6-cylinder engines. We seek a well-rounded individual capable of producing excellent results, available to start as soon as possible.

Job Responsibilities

• Able to operate machines such as Surfacer, Sunnen Cylinder Hone, Line Borer, Line Hone, Cap Grinder, Crankshaft Balancer, Crankshaft Polisher, Seat & Guide Machine.
• Perform all phases of cylinder block and head machining accurately.
• Communicate professionally with team members.
• These duties define minimum activities; duties may be altered to meet company needs.

Job Qualifications / Requirements

• Verifiable machining experience; formal education is a plus.
• Ability to machine within specified tolerances.
• Owns necessary machinist tools.
• Excellent mechanical and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., H-1B Visa).

Schedule

·Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

·Shop Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation

·$18-30 per hour, depending on experience
