Job summary

BRAVE Books is seeking a mid-level video editor who can craft engaging ad creatives for Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. You will collaborate with a paid media buyer and writers to produce multiple variants and optimize for scroll-stopping performance.

You will own the hook, test frames and pacing, and leverage campaign data to inform future edits. This role is in-office near The Woodlands, TX, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and fast delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to edit video ad creatives for paid channels.
• Ability to analyze performance data from campaigns and iterate.
• Experience with high-volume video production and fast-paced environments.
• Comfort collaborating with copywriters and media buyers.

Responsibilities

• Edit ad creatives for Meta, YouTube, and TikTok at volume.
• Own the hook and test opening frames, pacing, text overlays, and audio.
• Iterate based on performance data and develop new variations.
• Find new ways to leverage video across organic and paid channels.
• Work with creator footage to adapt content for ads and native feel.
• Repurpose long-form video into shorts, verticals, thumbnails, and frames.
