CNH Industrial Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking an intern or co-op to research, develop, and evaluate perception technologies and algorithms for real-time sensing in agricultural and construction contexts.

You will architect perception systems, work on computer vision and sensor fusion, and help validate performance through field-testing campaigns in collaboration with a global engineering team.

Qualifications

• Masters level degree required in robotics or related field.

Intern Program Overview

Job Purpose

Research, develop, and evaluate perception technologies, algorithms, and processes that enable machines to sense and interpret their environment in real time, in support of an assigned goal or specific technical problem.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect robust perception systems capable of processing data from cameras, LiDAR, radar, and thermal sensors in real time.
• Develop and maintain computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning algorithms.
• Design for extreme environments, ensuring perception algorithms resist dust, mud, vibration, and shifting lighting.
• Oversee field-testing campaigns to validate system performance in real-world crop conditions and diverse growth stages.

Experience Required

• Masters' degree in robotics or relevant field

The annual salary for this role is USD $30.90 - $35.02 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries Will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
