The ideal candidate will have expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and sensor integration, as well as hands-on experience in developing real-time processing algorithms. You will work with cutting-edge technology to enhance navigation capabilities in complex maritime environments.
We are seeking a Perception Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing perception systems for our autonomous surface vessels. You will work on the forefront of technology, applying your expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion to create robust and reliable perception solutions that enable our ASVs to navigate and make critical decisions in complex maritime environments.
We need someone with a strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion, ideally with experience in complex systems. You should be comfortable developing and optimizing algorithms for object detection, classification, tracking, and scene understanding, and have a track record of implementing real-time data processing pipelines. Bonus points if you have experience with maritime or autonomous vehicle projects, signals processing, or low latency inference and tracking pipelines. We are looking for individuals who are hands-on coders and can contribute across the entire perception stack.
