Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with emphasis on patient safety and accurate image quality. You will ensure proper patient identification, procedure appropriateness, and adherence to radiation protection standards.

The role requires ARRT certification/registry or registry eligibility, and BLS certification within three months of hire. Experience with RIS/HIS is preferred and ongoing education is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered, or ARRT registry eligible.
• Current BLS certification required within three months of hire.
• Experience with radiology information systems and familiarity with department procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and exam and perform diagnostic radiographic services with care.
• Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS modules.
• Maintain equipment readiness and supplies for the assigned area.
• Provide patient education about examinations.
• Participate in quality assurance and peer review of films.
