Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking a Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist to produce diagnostic radiographic images and support licensed practitioners.

You will prepare, administer and document contrast and radiation exposure in compliance with laws, policies, and safety standards, and respond to coverage requests as a per-diem technologist. The role requires ARRT (R), state license if applicable, CPR/BLS, and the ability to travel between locations.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification and state license as applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and travel if required.
• Strong patient communication and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic x-ray images with attention to radiation safety.
• Perform or assist diagnostic exams under licensed practitioner guidance.
• Document contrast administration and radiation exposure per policy.
• Train and orient new technologists and patient coordinators as needed.
• Respond to coverage requests and maintain flexibility for shifts.
