Qualifications

• Active LXMO or equivalent limited-scope radiography license.

• Knowledge of radiographic anatomy, positioning, exposure techniques, and safety.
• Ability to follow orders and imaging protocols with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and EMR/imaging software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient care.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment as needed.
• English proficiency to communicate with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited-scope X-ray exams per licensure and protocols.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for high-quality images while ensuring safety.
• Verify patient identity, review orders for accuracy, and confirm exam indications.
• Apply proper radiation safety principles, including shielding and exposure settings.
• Prepare, operate, and monitor X-ray equipment; report malfunctions.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and imaging systems.
• Assist in keeping exam rooms and imaging areas clean and ready.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, providers, and staff.
• Follow infection control policies, PPE usage, and cleaning protocols.
• Support X-ray department workflow and adapt to changing demands.
