Job summary

HIRE INTRODUCTION LLC is seeking a Veterinary Technician for per diem assignments in Dallas, TX. This role supports veterinarians by providing high-quality medical care to animals on an as-needed basis and is not a permanent position.

Responsibilities include assisting with medical procedures, managing patient records, monitoring animal health, and educating pet owners on health, nutrition, and preventative care. A CVT/LVT/RVT is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT/RVT certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of vet clinic experience preferred.
• Experience handling and restraining animals safely and humanely.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures by preparing equipment and handling animals.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Collect and prepare lab samples (blood, urine, tissue) for analysis.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure accessibility of information.
