Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute seeks a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform non-invasive vascular studies under limited supervision. Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years college course work preferred.
• Satisfactory completion of RVT certification examination and/or ARDMS becoming a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in vascular imaging preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing technical non-invasive vascular procedures, assuring quality test results to assist physicians with the diagnosis of vascular disorders. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing vascular procedures. Work situations require vascular expertise, analysis, and the use of discretion and good judgement in decision making.
