Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years college course work preferred
• Satisfactory RVT certification exam and/or ARDMS to become Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in vascular imaging preferred
• Current BLS Certification required

Responsibilities

• Produce optimum scanning results, using ultrasound as a diagnostic aid
• Schedule ultrasound appointments
• Perform duties including writing reports, filing, charging, and stocking rooms with appropriate products
• Place patient welfare above all other duties while the patient remains in the ultrasound department
