Position Type: Per Diem

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the surrounding community.
  • Actively participate in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members, and professionals.
  • Perform all duties with a positive attitude.
  • Operate a 7 to 14+ passenger vehicle.
  • Ensure vehicle readiness, including safety checks, first aid supplies, and updated resident emergency information sheets.
  • Assist residents with entering and leaving the vehicle.
  • Assist with baggage as needed.
  • Enforce safety rules during travel.
  • Secure necessary paperwork for appointments and deliver to appropriate persons.
  • Transport residents to and from appointments, group activities, and other destinations.
  • Service the vehicle with fuel, oil, and necessary fluids; maintain cleanliness.
  • Perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Attend required in-services and orientations.
  • Respond to resident requests and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing residence activities.

Job Qualifications:

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Focused on providing excellent customer service.
    • Excellent driving skills and automobile servicing knowledge.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
    • Frequent lifting, bending, and stretching.
    • Calm and complete handling of emergency situations.

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: Minimum of three years driving experience required.

Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver's license in the state, with no more than two moving violations in three years.

Physical Demands:

  • Finger and hand dexterity.
  • Visual and auditory acuity.
  • Lift at least 25 lbs.
  • Push, pull, walk, sit, stand, crouch, kneel, stoop, reach, and use good body mechanics.
  • Use a computer and type as needed.
