Qualifications

• Graduation from a fully accredited Sonography program is required.
• One year of acute care Ultrasound Technologist experience is required.
• ARDMS registry in Abdomen or OB/GYN, or ARDMS eligibility within 6 months of hire.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification to be completed within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participate with Radiologist and/or physician by contributing technical and professional knowledge.
• Review pathology, surgical and delivery reports to follow patient progress and review diagnostic exam accuracy.
• Perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, venous and carotid Doppler, and various small parts ultrasound exams.
• Maintain supplies and complete proper paperwork for exams.
• Respond to patient needs and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Ensure safe work practices and professional conduct per organizational policies.
