Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasonographer to join our Ultrasound team. This role offers flexibility for a close-knit community hospital and the ability to impact patient care locally.

Under radiologist supervision, you will perform abdominal, OB-GYN, vascular, and small parts ultrasound, assist with procedures, and discuss findings with the radiologist. ARDMS certification and CPR are required, with RVT preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification including Physics and anatomy registry is required.
• RVT certification strongly preferred.
• CPR – current AHA Healthcare Provider certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Attended an accredited school for Diagnostic Ultrasound or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Move transducer over designated area and monitor ultrasound display.
• Perform abdominal, OB-GYN, vascular, and small parts ultrasound.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Discuss findings with radiologist and explain procedures to patient.

Education

ARDMS Certification (Physics & anatomy)

RVT Certification preferred

CPR Certification (AHA) - current
