Job summary

Day Kimball Health is hiring a Per Diem Mammographer to join the Diagnostic Imaging department in Putnam, CT. The Mammographer will perform professional duties under the direction of the radiologist, conducting mammography studies and maintaining quality standards.

Requirements include completion of a Radiological Technology Program and a valid CT license. They will ensure compassionate care and optimal results while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year approved Radiological Technology Program required.
• Current license in the State of Connecticut required.
• Registered, or registry eligible, with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists required.
• CPR - Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum of 1-year practical experience performing related duties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts mammography study by positioning breasts and adjusting equipment.
• Maintains production and quality of mammograms by following established standards.
• Performs all aspects of Mammography including Needle localizations and Biopsies.
• Explains the procedure to the patient and assists in physical positioning.
