Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery to join our growing, high-volume academic trauma program at our Level II Trauma Center. This per diem opportunity offers involvement in both surgical and non-surgical care for acute musculoskeletal injuries.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients in inpatient, outpatient, ER, and operative settings; performing fracture fixation; collaborating with trauma teams; and

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery preferred.
• Eligible for PA State medical licensure and DEA registration.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operative settings.
• Perform fracture fixation and reconstructive procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma teams and participate in call coverage.
