Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia to trauma patients with medical and surgical trauma emergencies.
• Manages difficult airways due to blood, vomitus, or facial fractures.
• Provides massive blood and fluid resuscitation; treats coagulopathies.
• Obtains vascular access and prevents hypothermia.
• Optimizes mechanical ventilation and ensures adequate anesthesia and analgesia.

Position Summary: Provides anesthesia to trauma patients with both medical and surgical trauma emergencies. Manages difficult airways due to blood, vomitus, or severe facial fractions and also provides massive blood and fluid resuscitation, treat coagulopathies, obtain vascular access, prevent hypothermia, optimize mechanical ventilation, and ensure adequate anesthesia and analgesia.
