Job summary

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and facility-related trips.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles safely.
• Ensure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices are properly secured.
• Provide comfort, support, and excellent customer service to residents during transport.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident appointments and transportation needs.
• Maintain transportation schedules and trip documentation.
• Keep transportation vehicles clean, organized, and fueled.
• Follow all facility safety policies, infection control standards, and traffic regulations.
• Report any vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident dignity, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
• Assist with other resident support duties as assigned by leadership.

We are searching for a dedicated, energetic individual to be a vital link between our residents, nursing staff, families, and other facility departments.
