Job summary

Fresh River Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to supervise and care for residents during transportation appointments. Shifts run 16-18.5 hours weekly with times from 10:15 am–4:15 pm or 10:15 am–3:15 pm.

A CT CNA certificate and English proficiency are required; vaccination is required with exemptions available. Prior CNA experience is preferred but not required, with weekend/holiday bonuses and potential raises.

Qualifications

• State of Connecticut CNA Certification is required.
• Previous CNA experience is preferred but not required.
• COVID-19 vaccination: required; boosters not required; exemptions available.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and care for residents during appointments and transport.
• Support residents during transportation to and from appointments.
• Ensure safety and comfort during transit and at the facility.
