Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - West TN in Jackson, TN seeks a Telemetry Technician for per diem day and night shifts. You will monitor patient status, respond to alarms, and perform EKG interpretations under RN supervision.

This role requires completing an EKG class within 30 days of start and may offer opportunities for full-time advancement. Part time/Per Diem positions are eligible for 401k based on reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass EKG class for Monitor Techs within 30 days of start date.
• Preferred background as LPN or RN with EKG training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms and ensure timely and appropriate responses.
• Perform EKG interpretations (rate, PRI, QRS, QTc, ST, rhythm).
• Ensure strip interpretations are validated by RN.
• Continuously observe monitors and respond to alarms promptly.
