Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related field with minimum five years experience in desktop hardware/software installations; operation of Windows NT.
• Technical certifications in Windows NT, DOS/Windows 95/NT, UNIX or related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes projects to test and finalize hardware/software configurations for the company network; works with Corporate IT.
• Assists in testing and analyzing hardware/software considered for use on the company network.
• Works on projects to determine best means to deploy and support network hardware/software, especially with new applications.
• Provides assistance to team members and vendors during deployment, installation, or repair of network hardware/software while moving from planning to operations.
• Provides technical support during evaluation of new hardware/software products including performance/reliability testing, deployment requirements, cost analysis, and maintainability.
• Responsible for all software distribution services.
• Participates in regular reviews of Help Desk logs, equipment failures, and schedule reviews to improve deployment and support of systems.
