Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assembles baskets of instruments, basin sets and equipment for sterilization.
• Assembles sets of supplies and instruments for clinical settings; checks cleanliness and functionality.
• Decontaminates, disinfects and cleans supplies and equipment.
• Distributes instruments, equipment and supplies to appropriate locations.
• Maintains adequate levels of supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Monitors equipment for malfunctions and notifies staff for major repairs.
• Performs reprocessing of endoscopes per HLD policy and IFU; maintains scope washers.
• Operates and documents data logs; communicates equipment issues and repairs.
