NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Per Diem Staff Nurse for the Therapeutic Infusion Center in New York, NY. This role offers flexible scheduling for experienced nurses focused on delivering excellent patient outcomes.

The position requires a BSN, 3+ years inpatient RN experience, NY RN license, BCLS, and central line/IV insertion skills. You will administer medications, monitor patients, educate families, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• At least three years of inpatient acute care RN experience required.
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BCLS certification through the AHA required.
• Central lines and Peripheral IV insertion experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Therapeutic Infusion Center.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes.
• Assist in the insertion of central lines and peripheral IVs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care procedures.
