Job summary

Able Health Care Service is seeking a per-diem Speech Language Pathologist to provide in-home therapy in Elmhurst, NY. You will evaluate speech and swallowing disorders and contribute to treatment plans, working with patients, families, and the care team.

Requirements include NYSED licensure or valid permit, a graduate SLP program, and at least one year of relevant home or acute care experience. Office: Queens; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Speech Language Pathologist program approved by NYS Education Department.
• Licensed and registered with NYSED, or valid permit.
• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• One year of acute care or home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech-language pathology services and assessments.
• Participates in Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care development and review.
• Assesses and treats disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing.
