What You'll Do

As a Speech Therapist, you'll provide in-home therapy to patients needing assistance with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing. You'll work closely with patients, families, physicians, and a supportive interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on physician orders
  • Provide skilled speech-language therapy in the home setting
  • Educate patients and families to support therapy goals and communication strategies
  • Accurately document visits and progress in the EMR system
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate care
  • Comply with all agency policies and applicable state/federal regulations
What You'll Need
  • Active Florida SLP license in good standing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Level 2 background screening
  • Recent negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Strong clinical knowledge in speech-language pathology practices
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • 1+ year of experience in a multidisciplinary setting preferred
  • Experience with AlayaCare EMR is a plus
