Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist I per diem to evaluate patients of all ages and provide targeted therapy according to policy. The role supports a regional health system with flexible site coverage.

Per diem staff work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month and participate in holiday coverage, with occasional coverage at other Concord Hospital sites as needed. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Active NH Speech Language Pathology license in good standing.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (or equivalent).
• Experience in interdisciplinary teams; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and document in accordance with licensure and department standards.
• Develop and document assessments, goals and treatments for each patient.
• Communicate findings in verbal and written form; participate in interdisciplinary team activities.
• Manage department caseload and ensure accurate charging and charting.
